Newport Pagnell Carnival returns this weekend

The annual Newport Pagnell Carnival returns this weekend, with two days of family entertainment, live performances and community activities.

The volunteer-run event takes place on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July, with the Carnival Parade travelling through Newport Pagnell before reaching Riverside Meadow. The weekend includes a sold-out Carnival 5K, with organisers saying 700 runners will take part, alongside live music, arena entertainment, children’s activities, fairground rides, food and drink stalls, a classic car show, car boot, duck races and other attractions.

Saturday field entry is £2 for adults and £1 for children and concessions, with under-5s free. Sunday entry is free.

The parade also supports local charities and good causes, with visitors encouraged to support the collection buckets along the route.
